Require proof of ownership. File online found reports with shelters. Take by vet to scan for chip. Post on Nextdoor and post flyers.

Why in God's name do you have it in a box? That is not a puppy. Please be kind to this lost dog. They are so terrified. ❤️

Lakeisha Dabekar Thank you for responding you're so close to the border of the jurisdictions for the shelters... If it's considered outgrove of course you'll need to reach out to outgrove shelter but if it's considered Sacramento County then it's Bradshaw... They always go by the nearest cross streets found at which determines the shelter jurisdiction in other words the areas the shelters are responsible for. Need to edit and include the cross street with Laguna Blvd in all posts.Put on Elk Grove Lost and found pets Facebook Group, Elk Grove,CA Lost and found pets Facebook group, Nextdoor App and Neighborsring App.Put FOUND with date, time and year did, Nearest cross street's and number to contact you..Also put MUST PROVIDE PROOF OF OWNERSHIP.....
