Description

Gray Tabby

Message from Owner

This male gray tabby has already been neutered and has his ear clipped. Somebody trapped him from one of the colonies where I feed him and dropped him off on West Harding and South Walnut near the watermelon field. He does not have a name, but he is extremely sweet and gentle. I had found him a home, but unfortunately, when I went to pick him up yesterday, I found out that they had trapped him and dumped him in this area. He is missing his right eye. I know it’s a longshot, but if anybody sees him, please contact me and I am willing to offer a reward.

🚨 Please do this today and everyday 🚨Cats, especially indoor cats, indoor/outdoor cats don't go far from their home please do this during the daytime. Ask neighbors to check their garages sheds and basements, sometimes they get trapped in them . Get their permission to look in their yards, under their porches and decks, under and behind their sheds, look in, under, behind wood stacks,in crawl spaces,on fences,on the bottom,at their base, in bushes,up trees, up poles , on rooftops, use a flashlight to look in these dark and tucked away spaces, even in the day, look for the eye shine,or reflective glow of the cat's eyes. Ask neighbors and nearby businesses to look on their surveillance, security, and doorbell camera's video for your cat, give them a flyer.

Knock on neighbours doors and put out flyers everywhere. Do offer rewards. Also go out in the night. You can hear him better then. Check the pounds too. Airtags on collars help greatly.

General Information: Set up a scent station. Hang clothes with your scent on it (Worn clothing from owner) high up outside so the familiar scent can travel and guide the cat back home. NO CAT BOX OR FOOD. Ask your neighbors to check their yard/could be accidently stuck in their garage or shed. (If applicable) Check doorbell or home camera - or ask neighbors to check their camera. Post Fliers with a picture of the cat and your contact information in the area the cat went missing. Not everyone is on Social Media and posters have worked in that if spotted a location can be provided. If a cat is scared they make themselves safe by finding a good hiding spot and often times hide in silence. Look in bushes - bring a flashlight and look for shining eyes. Best time to find your cat is in the early morning hours when the noise level is low and they feel safe. Leave an access point open for the cat to return. This is important if they do come back in the middle of the night. Prayers your cat returns/ or is found safely. Beware of scammers.

Check in bushes and under cars near your home, and on the next street over, especially in the evening with a flashlight, calling out to him and making a familiar sound. Ask neighbors if they might have seen him, and when they last did and which direction he headed if they have. If they have security cameras, video footage would help. Ask them if he might be trapped in their garage or shed. I hope he is found soon🙏🏻
