Thanks for helping him/her!🙏❤️ Good karma!! Any vet office or chain pet store/ pet co etc… Or shelter can scan chip for free. Pls file a found pet notice on shelter’s website if possible. Pls google: 24 pet connect dot com It’ll go on shelters’ data base incase family is looking for him or her there. A lot people don’t have social media. His family must be missing him so much!! If you bring him to front street or SPCA, finder/foster is an option if desired; while shelter tries to locate his family during stray hold period. Shelters covers all medical during foster care. Shelters ussually let foster/finder help find next family for the dog or adopt the dog if they wish; after stray hold period. First place people look would be shelters. And lots of people don’t have social media. ❤️🙏 ***Which shelter to bring her/him can be googled based on which street the pet is found (jurisdiction)/ pls google- put in street where pet is found. Thanks for helping him/her from getting hit by cars!!!

Sherri Karle We found out where he lives on Grove from the neighbors. They informed us that he roams the neighborhood for the past two years, unfortunately. We are going to wait until they get home to return him. I will update when he is home safe.

You need to post on Neighborsring App,Nextdoor App and DelPasoHeights/North Sacramento Lost and found pets Facebook Group. Need to file a Found report with Frontstreet shelter when found in City of Sacramento NOT Sacramento County.. If you're willing to foster make sure you inform them they will pay for vaccines, microchip,and neuter if need any of above... If a microchip is not detected on the first scan be sure to get a second one done at front street. Many times they're missed because they're so tiny like a piece of rice and they're not detected on the first scanner but found on the next one.It's even happened to me and others I know.. Even if has one be sure to get proof of ownership.
