A few years ago my neighbours cat somehow ended up on the wrong side of the tracks. He must have been scared by another animal and once on the south side of the tracks was lost. We tried all the things to find him, and then someone posted that he was lost on some Beaches lost cat/animals FB page. Someone recognized a found cat photo from one site and a lost cat from another. he was found after 7 days and some kind person had been giving him food and water outside when they realized he was lost.

- [ ] The kitty is probably hiding close to home and scared. Call the kitty’s name softly morning noon and night. Late at night. Rattle a treats bag. Put out toys and food and water. Rig up a cat shelter - place articles of clothing and blankets that smell like home in the shelter. Posters work. Make posters and put them up everywhere with your phone number visibly on the poster. Ask for sightings. Don’t give up.

Hoping you find this pussšŸ˜•ā¤ļø Go out looking for her/him at night when it’s quiet. Call and listen! for them to call back. Go down laneways etc too - they could be trapped in a garage, injured & hiding, scared… Knock on doors & talk to people on the street - they may know of her/him - someone may have taken them in. Post on All Neighbourhood social media sites. Put up posters - drop as flyers in mailboxes. File a LOST report with Toronto/other Animal Services in case they end up there - continue to check their listings! Continue to call - they won’t necessarily call you. Also, check their ā€˜deceased animals’ listings 🄲 Consider setting a well-monitored live trap in your yard. He may be too scared to come out but may be able to be trapped. You may catch other critters that will need to be released. Keep looking! Don’t give up on her/him .🄰
