Brown Male Chihuahua, very sweet

Message from Finder

Hello! I found a brown male Chihuahua near Ahlstrom Park in Rancho Cordova around 8:30pm on Monday October 5, 2026. He is a super sweet dog. Found with a harness and collar, no tags. I'm going to take him to see if he has a chip tomorrow morning and will hold on to him for a few days before taking him to a shelter if his family is not located.

Put on Nextdoor App Neighborsring App and Rancho Cordova Lost and found pets Facebook Group.. Any vet can do the first scan for a microchip... However when found in Rancho Cordova that is SPCA Sacramento Florin PerkinsRd jurisdiction. You need to file a found report with them.If you're willing to hold due to shelter overcrowding make sure you inform them... If no microchip detected on the first scan make sure you have a second one done on another scanner.. They're so tiny many times missed on one scanner and detected on the next.. Please get proof of ownership even if it has one For its safety.Spca Animal Support/Intake is 11 to 5 7 days a week
