Squid is an 8 year old tabby that likes to visit neighbors in our cul-de-sac and go on walks with our dogs. We have not seen her for a few days and miss her dearly.

Not sure why you felt the need to comment about her being outside. You don't know my or her circumstances. Be kind!

Put something unwashed out on your porch that smells like you, a blanket or a shirt. So sad she's not an indoor cat. I hope you find her soon and safe.

1. Also post on Next Door app. Ring app if you or a neighbor have it. Have them check their cameras. Talk to neighbors who may not be on social media. 2. If microchipped notify the company . Be sure info is current. 3. Post flyers on neon colored poster paper and put in plastic zip lock bags. 4. Look under houses, porches, decks, grills and bushes. Look under cars. 5. Look up in trees. Look in garages, sheds, drainpipes, driveway culverts and sewers. Leave garage door propped up some. 6. Go out at night but midnight-6 am is best when cats are most active. Take a strong flash light to reflect on cats eyes. Call calmly and take treats . 7. Set up outdoor camera to see if coming up about $35 Walmart. 8. If seen set a have -a-heart cat trap. borrow from rescue or purchase at a tractor supply. Bait with canned mackerel or sardines. Put a tarp or dark towel over the top part of the trap, but not the end so cat can breathe. Sink a trail camera to the trap to watch activity from your cell phone. Do not leave trap unattended overnight take cat out inside to prevent escape. 9. Indoor outdoor cats are usually hiding or stuck within 3 to 17 houses or 50 yards unless they hitched a ride. 10. Put out water so cat can survive. 11. Put out worn clothing of person closest to the cat. Do not put out litter it can attract predators and strays. 12. Go to all area shelters in person every day or two. Shelters are too crowded. 13. This person is free : contact K-9 On Call Missing Pet Services. Erin Eaton 910-758-1775. 14.
