Message from Owner

🚨 MISSING INDOOR CAT – PLEASE HELP 🚨 (Queens, Ozone Park NY 11417) My cat got out of the home on, September 23, around 11 AM. He is strictly an INDOOR CAT and is not so familiar with being outside, so he may be scared and hiding nearby. πŸ“ Ozone Park – 106th Street, between Liberty Avenue and 103rd Avenue I would highly appreciate the help to keep an eye out. Please done chase him, he’s scared. If you see him anywhere, please message me immediately with his location. He is deeply loved and I just want my baby home safely. His name is Louie ❀️ Please share. Thank you so much. πŸ™πŸΎ

shared and hoping and per advice from a trapper to be done at your own discretion (as not everyone agrees with this) put out the uncleaned litter box outside (THIS SHOULD BE A LAST RESORT as this can draw in strays) along with a piece of your clothing they say it helps them find their home and put up many flyers and check under stoops and bushes and garages and if possible and at night when it is quiet constantly call her/his name - this is how I found my cat under a car - hopefully some of this helps

I am Louie owner. Louie is still missing. He didn’t return home yet. I miss him so much, it’s hard to cope with his absence. πŸ˜’πŸ’”

First put out a big bowl of water IMMEDIATELY. Then, did you try the kitty litter trick? Take some litter from their box and sprinkle outside leading to your door then call them constantly especially at dawn and dusk and when it's quiet. Kitty will follow its scent and your voice home. It's no doubt scared and hiding. You can also try a stinky can of sardines! Or if kitty is a cuddler, try putting an article of your clothing by your door. Also check area garages, under car hoods, shelters, local rescue groups, Nextdoor and Pawboost for found kitties in and near your zip. Don’t give up. And post flyers around your neighborhood. Good luck! And please keep your kitty inside if you let it out!! Between coyotes, diseases, bad actors and cars, there are so many ways harm can come to them!!! Finally, if your kitty isn’t fixed, please spay/neuter!
