Message from Finder

My daughter’s friend found this injured cat in the bushes of her apmt complex. She is chipped but the phone number is no longer in service. I’m a rescue and I have her safe with me but she is injured and needs further future medical care.

No owners have come forward for this kitty. Sunrise Rescue has had her in their care and she was immediately treated at their vet where x-rays were done along with blood panels and hospitalization. She was suffering from a head injury and concussion which was concluded to be an intentional abuse case. She is recovering but may have permanent slight balance issues and her pupils may never even out in size. She also had lipidosis going on which means her liver values were critical due to prolonged starvation. She was microchipped but the email address and phone number were both invalid as was the owner name. She will be listed for adoption when healed. 💖

Marlie Major the rescue wrote the cat needs further medical care which suggests to me that they can’t provide it . Secondly SDHS treats they don’t automatically euthanize. And third the cat should not be left untreated and in pain. Oh and the SDHS may have adopter information

Tara Hebert to do what? They’ll euthanize her. She’s getting medical care from a rescue.

Take to San Diego humane society if you can’t provide medical assistance.
