Our beloved 12-year-old family cat went missing the evening of 9/14 from our home on the hill on Catalina Ave, near Gum Grove. She is mainly an indoor cat and very rarely goes beyond our fenced backyard, so this is extremely unlike her. She is incredibly sweet and friendly and would likely let you approach or pet her. With the recent increase in coyotes near Gum Grove, we’re very worried, but we’re holding onto hope that she may be hiding nearby or that someone found her and brought her inside. PLEASE check your yards, garages, sheds, under decks/cars, and cameras if you live nearby. Even the smallest sighting could help us. 🙏 Please message us immediately if you see her or have any information. We love her so much and just want her home.

***POST NEXTDOOR, RING NEIGHBORHOOD, PET FBI, PETCO LOVE LOST, PAWBOOST, PAW GUIDE APP Check ✔️ Humane Society, Animal Shelters In-Person DAILY. Some Keep Pets 5 Days then put up for Adoption. Boots on the ground - Walk ur neighborhood 2X DAILY, DAY & NIGHT, CHECK BUSHES 1st!!! Check window wells, under decks, sheds, garages, behind AC units, dumpsters, under staircases, under BBQ covers, behind firewood. Indoor Cats don't go far, usually close by. Others hide during the day and roam @ night when it's quiet. Shake bag of cat food or treats, walking, calling by name, saying are u hungry, Bring a flashlight, search day & night. Knock on neighbor's doors. Post Flyer's on neighbor's doors

Go out in the dark with a flashlight look around all bushes in buildings and under porches and look for the glow of the eyes

Knock on neighbours doors and put out flyers everywhere. Do offer rewards. Also go out in the night. You can hear him better then. Check the pounds too. Airtags on collars help greatly.

Check in bushes and under cars near your home, and on the next street over, especially in the evening with a flashlight, calling out to her and making a familiar sound. Ask neighbors if they might have seen her, and when they last did and which direction she headed if they have. If they have security cameras, video footage would help. Ask them if she might be trapped in their garage or shed. I hope she is found soon🙏🏻

So sorry your kitty is missing 😰 You must actively look for your kitty. Please go out late at night or very early in the morning when there are very few cars and people out. Sit on your front or back stairs, wherever she’s more familiar and talk in a normal conversation voice, think low cell phone conversation. Do this for at least an hour if not longer, morning and night until found. If she likes treats and knows the sound of a treat bag do that also or any sound that she gets excited about. If she’s scared and hiding, this may be the encouragement needed to come out. Cats can hide for days. Place your worn clothing or something with your scent outside. No food or litter box in this area due to predators. Good luck. I Hope she is found safe and soon. 🙏🐾💕
