Description

Harrisburg, NC 28075 He is a mostly black cat, with a white belly and white paws and a splash of white on his face. He has green eyes and is about 6 years old. He is wearing a collar (but it could’ve come off if he got stuck somewhere) and is microchipped (which means if taken to a vet that can identify and get him back to us).

Message from Owner

Please help us, we’re devastated and love our Boof so much. He is a very sweet boy, but can be shy around strangers.

Put out some worn clothing on your porch. Notify all your neighbors he is missing and ask them to check under their decks, house and in their garage and any outbuildings they might have. Put up flyers with his picture and your phone number around your neighborhood. Flyers work. Lots of people have found their cats because neighbors saw their flyers. You might also want to go out and look after dark with a flashlight and softly call his name. They typically don’t stray too far from home. Litter boxes outside can attract strays and coyotes. Be cautious of any drone or pet locator companies unless you personally know someone that has used them. They prey on people with missing pets for money.
