Maine coon can handle most predators, if they have claws. Can also climb a tree to escape danger if necessary.....

Simple, don't let ur cats outside!! So much danger out there..they birds, could get attacked by a coyote, hit by a car! You would never just let a dog outside and not watch it how is a cat any different...our pets are family

Looks like the cat the comes in my backyard for the last yr I feed ,I have a small dog so ,she scares it sometimes she or he sits and waits to be fed sometimes on my steps,

My brother's cat got inside the ductwork some how inside the house so yeah check the entire house inside and out. Best wishes
