Lisa Smythe Never rely on shelters vets or chip company calling you.Many times they cant get ahold of owners.Check spam for emails as well.Chip to the shelters every other day or 2 and ask them to look it up because the deceased will not be on the website

Lisa Smythe Tip us up to date but did you call the microchip company and report missy all owners responsibility and many many people do not do or they change numbers and don't update chip company another big reason why they're at shelters

Also when missing in Folsom if animal control picks up there they will take to Sacramento SPCAFlorinPerkins Rd there jurisdiction.Have you been in person yet? Never rely on shelters or vets calling just because microchip for some reason they don't get a hold of owners sometimes. That's why it's important you don't rely on shelter website or them calling and get in there every couple days give them the microchip ID to look up because the deceased are not going to be on the website.. It doesn't mean they are they could still be roaming somewhere... Need to be consistent going in as long as it takes speak with them each time and show them picks each time take the chip ID with you so they can look up.....

Lisa Smythe 6/10/26 Is it her in Cheris post? Are you still searching? All owners are aware they need to call the microchip company double check it actually got registered never assume that's a big mistake that's why many are at the shelters and or if they change numbers and don't tell the chip company. Yes they come into the shelter and if for some reason can't get a hold of you they're only getting a hold 7 days before they adopt unless they have medical stuff going on.You also need to notify Sacramento SPCA Florin Perkins Rd.If found in Folsom that's where they will take..Did this ALL get done
