Shared My experience for my escapees escaped from my house may work for apartment too not sure. Try this it worked for my two cats they escaped at diff times. Play cat sounds from your phone place your phone up against screen at their fave window. Let the sound loop for awhile wait and do again. If you spot them grab their bag of snacks take with you. Do not approach the cat they will run just keep saying their name and let them see u shake the treat bag and put some treats down on the ground all while talking to them wait for them to start eating then slowly approach and slowly grab. Worked for me on both cats.

Go out and look and call calmly and shake treats. Ask neighbours to check garages sheds yards under decks and stairs. Put items with his scent inside near an open door (bedding toys litter wet food only if you can watch it, do not leave food and litter unattended. Check bushes. He is most likely close just hiding to stay safe. put up posters in case anyone sees her while out walking or anything. Late at night is best to look hope he comes home soon

If this is an indoor only cat that never goes out, look close. Indoor only cats when lost get scared and hide because it is unknown territory and usually do not come out when you call. Usually are within 3 or 4 houses . Put out something with your scent such as a piece of clothing or blanket. Call at dusk, dawn and night and shake the treats. Get in your neighbour's yards and look under decks, sheds, in trees, bushes, in garages, under vehicles and hood or anywhere they can hide. Put up lots of posters. If you are searching at night, use a flashlight as their eyes glow in the dark. https://www.google.com/url?opi=89978449&q=https://www.youtube.com/watch%3Fv%3Dg2eCoC63B9I%26xstg%3DCAMSEBUJ_b-oH-PhF0yjBgb_zzE%253D&sa=U&sqi=2&ved=2ahUKEwjghPWRqr-XAxWsK1kFHSnQLYIQwqsBegQIDxAB&usg=AOvVaw271JAYSiGD2ZdZqADmEZOM
