Put up posters, put use litter outside so she/he can pick up on their scent. notified vets, shelters, and recuses. Also notified chipped company if your cat is chipped. Check 1-2 blocks each way calling the cats name. .Check close to home like tree's, brushes, and any holes he may fine to hide. Ask neighbors to check their backyards and sheds. Go out late at night when everything is quite calling the cats name while carry a treat like tuna, make sure you stop to listen. Check under cars etc... Do you know if their is a cat colony someone in your area bc you could check with them to see if your baby is there too GL...Also beware of scammers-don't give money and ask them to sent picture

If this is an indoor only cat that never goes out, look close. Indoor only cats when lost get scared and hide because it is unknown territory and usually do not come out when you call. Usually are within 3 or 4 houses . Put out something with your scent such as a piece of clothing or blanket. Call at dusk, dawn and night and shake the treats. Get in your neighbour's yards and look under decks, sheds, in trees, bushes or anywhere they can hide. Put up lots of posters. Shared. If you have not already done all these things, do them NOW. If you have do them again and go further in your search. Advise Toronto Animal Services and check their website for found cats. Also notify nearby vet offices, rescues, shelters (e.g. SPCA/Humane Society) and the microchip company if she's chipped. Alert local feral cat feeders who may spot her searching for food. Cats will usually stay in hidden places near the door they left for 2-3 days before wandering or food and may keep coming nearby. Put her used litter and some food and water in hidden places near the door she left now and check now and this evening. Check all nearby dark, shaded areas under bushes, shrubs and trees and places where she can shelter if injured or scared. Check under decks, in window wells and dark corners of porches, yards, garages, sheds and stairwells where she could be hiding or might be trapped. Thump the hoods and fenders of nearby parked cars in case she hides in a wheel well or engine compartment. Ask nearby (5 -10 block radius) neighbours to do the same and to check their porches, garages, sheds and yards where she could hide or may be trapped. See Pawboost and check their website for found cats and for search and find suggestions as well as sample posters. Post notices in a 5-10 block radius, include outbuildings and construction sites. Put a notice in nearby (5-10 block) neighbours' mailboxes. Post on FB lost and found dogs and cats site and on community, church and local store notice boards. Go out AFTER dark and bring food and treats, walk around a 5-10 block area, stop periodically, semi hide and put the food beside you not in your hand and softly call. Listen carefully but do NOT make any loud noises. Lost cats are terrified and do not recognize their owners as safe.

- [ ] The kitty is probably hiding close to home and scared. Call the kitty’s name softly morning noon and night. Late at night. Rattle a treats bag. Put out toys and food and water. Rig up a cat shelter - place articles of clothing and blankets that smell like home in the shelter. Posters work. Make posters and put them up everywhere with your phone number visibly on the poster. Ask for sightings. Don’t give up.

If you haven't already done so, file a Lost Pet report with Toronto Animal Services, and check the Found Pets section of their website often. It would be good to get some posters put up with her photo and your contact information. It is good to go out early in the morning or late at night when there is minimal traffic, etc. around.
