Message from Finder

We are new to the neighborhood and see this dog frequently when walking our dogs. He is very matted but seems friendly and sweet. We can’t figure out how/why nobody in the immediate area seems to be doing anything for him. Worried he belongs to someone and is being neglected. Any info would be helpful- considering trying to capture him so he can at least get groomed :(

This dog lives on Halsbury. It’s the house on the left that has a fence around it, and the house sits back a little bit. But I’ve watched the dog. It lives in a drainage ditch, but that’s where the owners live in that yellow house. Yep

Laurie Smith I think if enough people call the shelter that something will be done. I’m gonna be calling the shelter myself also.

Thank you for posing this poor dog! You might consider making a "Is this your dog?" flyer or something similar. You can put it in a plastic sleeve or bag and attach it to your mailbox or even a stake in your yard. Hopefully a neighbor or delivery driver may know if it has a home in the area. Anyone who has seen this dog can put up a flyer in their yard, and if enough people do - maybe the owner, if there is one can be found. This is a sad and dangerous life for this poor creature.
