1. Make sure to contact the local police so then they are aware of it since people often call the police when they see dogs running around. 2. For description with picture and your contact should be distributed and flyers from door-to-door around where the dog was lost. 3. GO IN PERSON TOO THE LOCAL SHELTER: AHS on Evergreen Ave in Newark, NJ. DON’T JUST CALL GO THERE. THERE’S OVER 100 dogs there. 4. She should also contact local vets just in case the dog was injured or somebody grabbed to take it to a local vet to check for microchip. Good luck.
