Message from Finder

Is this anyone's cat? This cat walks around the complex every night. I think she's a girl and maybe pregnant? I can't tell if she's a stray or not. All I know is she is so sweet and friendly. I am planning on taking the cat to the vet to check for a microchip, and if there is no owner, I would honestly like to adopt her. She's so beautiful. I just want to be sure first.

Thank you for caring. Please know that even if there is no microchip, you need to search for an owner for 30 days, from the date you file a found cat report with the county, BEFORE you can "keep" it. You can do that by calling 407-836-3111, then press #. You also cannot get it vaccinated, tested for anything or spayed before those 30 days are over. You can decrease that time by taking it to the shelter, where they will also do all of the vetting (for free) and you can adopt her for $5. Just let them know you want to adopt when you drop her off.
