have you called the humane society? My boy was caught in a live trap by one of my lovely neighbors and sent to humane society jail where they proceeded to give him every shot and flea ...which he didn't need any of! My boy is such a little jerk...he waits patiently for the door to open and then runs out...and runs away from me....he comes back....and I'm thankful we are in a quiet neighborhood. This picture is from another of my neighbors who loves him...and I'll get a photo occasionally when he goes to visit....right next door I hope you find Cleo safe and sound....I'll be keeping my eyes open!

I've been through this few times. Cats can become disoriented and you will have to find where they ate hiding. I had to go out during quiet times of the night and early morning with a flashlight and his favorite treats to shake and call for him softly. I've crawl into crawl spaces and found one there hiding behind cinder blocks. I to actually pick him up. He would not come to me. His sister would every times. Another, my roommate's cat. was watching us looking for her hiding under a neighbor's car. Another one of mine was under a low deck. One was in some bushes again just watching us, not a perp. My flashlight caught her eyes. Please check with Maddac and the humane society.

The only way a lost cat can find its way home is with its nose. They have to use their sense of smell to get home again. Put anything outside that smells like their territory. Put the pajamas you slept in outside because you probably sweated in them. Put out their food your stinky socks your smelly sneakers anything you can think of that the cat will recognize by smell. Cats usually stay within a five house radius of their own home for up to a week or so sleeping in the bushes during the day and coming out at dusk and dawn. Those are good times to take a walk shaking the treat bag calling out but cats also tend to come out and walk around very late at night. Try to keep a door cracked if you can whether it's the garage or whatever or a window cracked so you can hear them if they call out for you. Put this on all of the neighborhood pages as well as lost and found pets sites. Knock on the neighbors doors and make sure they know you're looking for your cat. Good luck PS cats can smell up to one mile away from their own house. Absolutely no litterbox outside or food. It attracts predators is why. Never give up.
