Description

Black and white cat. She looks like she's wearing a black mask, her face is mostly white with a black patch on her nose and chin. She's mostly white on her underbelly and black on her back. She's fluffy and petite. UPDATE: I've located her hiding area but I'm having trouble catching her.

Message from Owner

Please help bring Buggieboo, aka Bug, . She escaped May 23rd. She is an indoor cat. I have seen her a few times emerging from the woods but she won't come to me. I can constantly hear her meow-crying but I can't get her to come back. She's skittish around most people and loud noises and kids make her hide. I've tried several things but she's not having it. I miss her so much and I don't know what else to do to lure her back . Any help is greatly appreciated ~!

Search at night with a flashlight (eyes will glow) up in trees and inside and under things on your property and up to three or four houses away. Cats normally stay pretty close to home. You can put something with the smell of the cat, or the scent of home, out on the porch. Put up missing cat posters, check with your neighbors, post on all local social media groups, and check with animal control every week. Leave your garage door up enough to allow the cat entry. You can also try searching early morning, before dawn, calling his/her name and carrying and open can of tuna or cat food. Hunger sometimes lures them out of hiding. Don't forget to check places like crawl spaces, garages, and sheds.

Don’t forget to check shelters incase someone found and turned in. There was one at KC Pet Project that looked like this one, please check.

Try putting your kitty dirty litter box outside or something that smells like your kitty so she can smell her way home. If you have a garage try leaving it cracked open enough for the kitty to come inside. Also try putting a smelly can of tuna or cat food outside. Cats hide in bushes, under decks, under vehicles and in sewers when they are scared. If you go out at night and shine a flashlight, your cats eyes will glow when you shine it in her eyes. Let your neighbors know your kitty is missing incase they see the kitty. **Also check local shelters daily!!!! **Also beware of Scammers!! I hope you find your kitty soon. 💜🐾

Put her bed a teasp of Tuna or mackeral water by ur door. Leave garage door cracked if I have one. Do these every night. May circle back around but may be weeks. Post on next door.
