16 year old grey tabby, white chest and paws, black stripes, nose bridge is half tan / half white. She has a black mark on her chin. Green eyes with black speckles. Short body. Faint meow. Has been spayed.

Message from Owner

Please help me find Esther. She has been my cat for most of my life, and she never wanders more than 100 feet from home. Last seen just north of Franklin park. She is friendly but with a short temper. She can be lured in with smelly food, catnip, or a cat laser.

General Information: Set up a scent station. Hang clothes with your scent on it (Worn clothing from owner) high up outside so the familiar scent can travel and guide the cat back home. NO CAT BOX OR FOOD (as that attracts predators) . Ask your neighbors to check their yard/could be accidently stuck in their garage or shed. (If applicable) Check doorbell or home camera - or ask neighbors to check their camera. Post Fliers with a picture of the cat and your contact information in the area the cat went missing. Not everyone is on Social Media and posters have worked in that if spotted a location can be provided. If a cat is scared they make themselves safe by finding a good hiding spot and often times hide in silence. Look in bushes - bring a flashlight and look for shining eyes. Best time to find your cat is in the early morning hours when the noise level is low and they feel safe. Leave an access point open for the cat to return. This is important if they do come back in the middle of the night. Prayers your cat returns/ or is found safely. Beware of scammers.

Put a piece of your worn clothing near escape area, they say not put their litter box outside because of predators but someone suggested it for my guy when he got out and was gone for several days when we moved. He was able to make his way back home. I moved twice ans both times he returned days later. Good luck 🙏🏼💞praying for kitties safe return
