Message from Owner

Our orange tabby Gypsy got out of the hse last Thursday and we haven’t seen her since. I’m so worried about where she is and if something has happened to her. If you have her or have seen her, please contact me. Thanks, Sandra

You might try a live trap, they are fairly cheap on amazon, my Jane wanted to come back but was too overwhelmed and scared, she had made a home under a backyard shed across the street and wouldnt let anyone near her. I saw she kept coming around the doors at night and if i didnt have other pets, i would have left the door cracked and that may have solved it. Eventually she was found eating hamburger in the trap on my front porch and all was right again. It took about 3 weeks for her to show up and i did have to release squirrels and possums along the way which were easy. Tuna in oil also makes a lot of scent. Make sure there's water too. If its cold out, wrap the trap in a blanket and make sure to check it often, check it often no matter what the weather is. In fact, best to keep a camera on it. I believe in Jane's case, the live trap was her only chance. Best of luck and a swift resolve for you I hope

Sandra Ahrens I’m so very sorry. We get so attached to our fur babies. I will pray to St. Francis of Assisi for Gypsy’s safe return and also for you. πŸ™πŸ»πŸ™πŸ»πŸ™πŸ»πŸ™πŸ»πŸΎπŸΎπŸ’•πŸ’•

Go around late at night calling them with food and flashlight to catch their eyes. Check around your neighborhood under houses and in small places where they may hide. Put stuff out that has yours and their scent on it. Mainly their litter box and sprinkle their used litter around the yard as they'll recognize the smell and it'll deter other animals from coming around. Hang flyers around for people to see. Check shelters and vets daily. Update chip info if they have a chip and its has not been update since a move. Ask neighbors to check in their garages incase they ended up trapped in one and to check their cameras in case they appeared on them to get a sense of direction they could be. I pray you get your baby back safe and soon.
