~~~Give a copy of the picture with information to the mailman in the area… They encounter many people & situation… Put a sign with information & picture in your front yard if you can & @ stop signs… Someone may have him thinking he was abandoned… Someone may have a camera that captured something… Always get your animal microchipped, it gives a better chance of being reunited… If the dog is microchipped, call the company ASAP … Report you animal missing to your local dog pound… PetCo has free software that uses photo recognition to match your photo to photos from rescues and shelters. Shared with many prayers
Please go out at night with a flashlight and look under bushes, in trees, yards and neighbors garages. She may be trapped in someone’s garage or shed. Ask your neighbors to check their cameras. Also put up trail cameras all over your yard. If you see her and she is too scared to come to you, you may need to get a humane trap and put in food and/or clothes you wore for her to get your scent, but never leave the trap unattended! Shake her dry food while gently calling her name. Indoor cats usually stay close to home, hide and come out at night. Create a color poster and put one on your door and go door to door with the posters to your neighbors. Call, go on their website and visit Broward County Animal Care every day. Take a piece of clothing you wore, drag it all over your yard leading to your door. She might catch the scent of it. Post about your cat on the Nextdoor app too. I hope these tips help you find Tokyo. 💕
Cook chicken on the grill. Put catnip outside. Play YouTube videos of kittens crying and shine a laser cat toy around the bushes.
Put out some things that smells like their favorite or familiar people. Do not use a litter box as this may be a beacon to predators as much as the kitty. Don't forget to change out the articles of things so the scent is refreshed. Ask your immediate neighbors and surrounding streets by 5 to 10 miles out to keep an eye out in garages, sheds, crawlspaces, porches, basements, and if possible under any places. Kitties can fit into some very small areas
Go around late at night calling them with food and flashlight to catch their eyes. Check around your neighborhood under houses and in small places where they may hide. Put stuff out that has yours and their scent on it. Mainly their litter box and sprinkle their used litter around the yard as they'll recognize the smell and it'll deter other animals from coming around. Hang flyers around for people to see. Check shelters and vets daily. Update chip info if they have a chip and its has not been update since a move. Ask neighbors to check in their garages incase they ended up trapped in one and to check their cameras in case they appeared on them to get a sense of direction they could be. I pray you get your baby back safe and soon.
