Try putting the cat's litter box out by the door along with the clothing that somebody mentioned or betting the catwise on. They're nocturnal they don't usually go too far then we'll hide. They've got a great sense of smell. It worked for me I hope it works for you

Shared. If you have not yet done ALL these things, do them now. If you have, do them again and go further in your search. Notify Mississauga Animal Services and check their website for found cats. Carefully check around your home and property, focusing on small, hidden spots like closets, dresser drawers and hidden nooks and crannies in garages, sheds, basement etc. IF he's an intact male he may have chased unspayed females in heat and have trouble finding his way back home. If he was injured he may be hiding. Search all nearby shrubs, bushes and trees, window wells, garages and sheds. Ask nearby neighbours to do the same. Alert local vet offices, rescues and shelters. Alert local feral cat feeders who may spot him searching for food. In case he might still be around, leave his used litter and some food and water in hidden places near the door he left NOW and check at dusk. See Pawboost for more ways to find and sample posters. Put a notice in nearby neighbours mailboxes, post on local notices boards, in community centres, churches and schools. Go out after dark bring food and treats, search a 5+ block radius, stop periodically and softly call but do not make any loud noises or sudden moves. Lost cats are terrified and do not recognize their owner as safe.

Please knock on your neighbour’s doors at least 5 to 10 houses on all sides of your house and let them know your is missing. Ask them to look in their garages, sheds, bushes or other similar hiding spots. Cats usually stay close to home because they are afraid. Print up lots of flyers and deliver them to the houses in your area. Talk to people who have outside home security cameras. Ask them to check the recordings. It's important to let as many people know that your cat is missing. Leave smelly food like canned tuna or sardines out during the day only so you don't attract other wildlife. You can also put out your unwashed clothing and your cat’s blanket. The scent from these may attract your cat back home. Search as often as you can. Often cats are within a few homes of where they live. You can use a bright flashlight at night to illuminate your cat’s eyes. Cats are active in the early morning hours, so that's a great time to check. Please file a lost cat report with the local animal shelter and talk to any local vets. People who find cats usually go to these places first to check for an ID microchip on the found cat.

Not sure if this will help, but you could try.. Please place its bedding 🛏 outside, along with the owner's unwashed clothing👚👖 front and back door 🚪with a contents of tuna can 🐟 on each entrance, you can leave your garage door a bit open as well. In case it comes in that way. And leaving food there as well...supervise food outdoors. Also vaccumed home 🧹dirt in a stocking hanging it in front and back of home🏡 enterence . You can also add some catnip 🌱in a stocking hanging by your entrances. Show your neighbors 🖼picture of the🐈 cat. 10 houses to the ⬅️ left 10 house🏡 to the right➡️ front ⬆️ and back⬇️ if they spot him to give you a call ☎️ immediately. Also, you can put up a Sign post 🪧with your 🐱📷 picture. In front of your 🏡lawn and to call you or contact you ASAP. Go early ⏰️ in the ☀️morning and shake treats calling the cats name when things are quiet.. Tell neighbors to check their sheds and garage ,under vechcals .Just in case it's trapped.. Would be wise for you to inspect their garages, Sheds, back yards 📣 Calling the 🐱 name. In case it is scared.. Also, you can install a camera / Baby monitor 📹 to monitor and see & hear if the cat is around your house 🏡. You can even ask your Local Pet 🐱 Animal Shelter to Rent out a Safe Trap and monitor it.. Post your ad on your phone 📲 app NEXTDOOR, & PAWBOOST too ! Praying for a soon safe return 🍀 of your kitty .🙏 ❤️🏡🐾 Also, Please consider putting a 🧭 📍Tracker on Once you have your 😺 .......
