MJ Poe be sure to contact the chip company and tell them that he's missing. Also make sure your contact info is up-to-date on their website. If you haven't already, put up flyers for both of them everywhere, as many people aren't on social media. Give flyers to every vet clinic, rescue, and shelter in the area in case they turn up. Ask your neighbors to check their cameras, garages, sheds, and crawlspaces. Ask them if they had any visitors or contractors doing work on their houses around the time they went missing. If so, call the visitors and businesses and ask them if they had any accidental stowaways. Look up in trees in case they were chased. Walk the neighborhood in the wee hours with a flashlight and look for glowing eyes. Call them in a regular voice (not panicked) and gently shake a treat bag if they like that kind of stuff. Put their beds/blankets and some of your dirty clothes on your porches and around the perimeter of your yard. When they come home, please get Snape microchipped and be sure to register the chip online. You might consider building or buying a catio (some people have bought pre-made chicken coops and "attached" them to their houses with kitty access through a window); or, if your yard is fenced in, consider putting up cat-fencing or coyote rollers on top of the fence to keep them safely in your yard (both can be DIY). Beverly Fahema DuPuy Ernest yes both cats went missing about the same time! Idk if someone took both thinking they were strays or if an animal got them. I’m hoping they’re still alive just ended up somewhere they didn’t mean to be.

Beverly Fahema DuPuy Ernest i lost both my black cats posted on here Remus and Professor Snape around the same time. Both are indoor/outdoor cats and only Remus has a microchip.
