Description

Her fur has gotten a little longer than the pic. She has fluffy tail and ear clip because she is feral but very tame for me. Wild for others mostly. She probably has a mat on her side. She is sweet and likes meow mix soft center. Not real energetic to soft food since they all got what was called a cat cold while being neutered and ear tipped at the animal services back in 2017 She is about 9 years old now and was in very good shape

Message from Owner

Tabby has a very fluffy tail not seen in this pic. Tabby was one of 3 kittens born to an abandoned cat in early 2017. She and her sisters had a litter before that year ended and later was trapped tipped and neutered and returned by the TNR program here in Ventura County. She is the one cat in the group of 9 that every other member rubs up against. She likes to greet me every day to rub her face against me and get a little scratch. I have been feeding these community cats every day since Nov 2017. First with 2 other people and after one feeder and the other broke a hip and never came back it has been just me since end of 2018. She talks with little blurting sounds rather than meow. Probably very shy with any other person. Lives outside and is missed. Will hide in bushes or under car and come out if food is placed and the person backs off to a safe distance. Likes tempation and meow mix soft center dry food. Eats a little Friskies wet food.

Time is of the essence. Cats don’t go far from home. Don’t wait for social media to bring your cat home, you need to be proactive. Leave the door/window the kitty exited from open 24/7. If unable, then crack garage door open 24/7 enough to get in. Hang worn clothes and/or your pillow case in a tree or on top of shrubs to create a scent trail. Knock on neighbors doors with a picture asking them to keep an eye out. See if they can check Ring cameras for any sighting. Post signs with kitty’s picture as many as possible, include surrounding neighborhoods. Go out late at night with a flashlight, shaking a bag of food, calling kitty’s name, looking under shrubs for their shining eyes. Post on Ring, Nextdoor and check shelters. Don’t give up. 💕
