Spoke to Danvers PD as this cat was brought in to VEG Peabody on my shift and no microchip was found. Wearing a red velvet collar, had a couple small cuts on his face (missing fur on top of head and a laceration on his nose), also for description he was an intact male shorthair black cat with a small amount of white hairs on his sternum. Very lively. Danvers PD ACO said he's been sighted at Liberty Tree Mall for 2-3 months now and every post made about him no owner has claimed him. IF THIS IS YOUR CAT, call VEG Peabody and ask them to look at #27 on our triage sheet from 10/22/26 - we took details down for the good Samaritans who brought him in and we can call them and ask which rescue they brought him to (they're bringing in the morning) to connect the owner to the rescue the cat will be at!
