Located roaming streets near hammond blvd, jax FL. Taken to a clinic and he is chipped. No response from owner. Recently adopted from jax humane society. Please, if anybody has information on this handsome boy or who he belongs to let us know.

Norma Hilton Falbo yes it unfortunately seems like he was dumped. We brought him to jacksonville humane society and started a 5 day reach out period from the owner that adopted him 25 days ago. After 5 days of not hearing anything we plan to adopt him! He’s a good boy and deserves a good caring home

Possibly someone adopted him and decided they couldn’t handle him as huskies aren’t for everyone. People adopt all the times and don’t allow a few months for the pups adapt or it’s not what they thought it would be and then just dump them. Huskies aren’t for everyone runners and also vocal. Since they just took him home and stuck him in a yard and did not secure the yard or did not take time to allow him to decompress before putting him out by himself, then he could’ve also be a runner. My guess is if they are not answering and they’re not looking anywhere for their dog then he’s possibly been dumped..

Faith Graham the owner has been reached out to via chip but there has been no response. I was told to hold on to him for a couple days to wait for response from owner, but I fear there is a chance the chip info is not updated. So unsure of how accurate that info is as of now.
