Have been seeing this cat around our apmt buildings for probably 3 weeks to a month. It goes up to everybody and other people feed it from our building, but as far as I can tell nobody claims him or her and I have been asking around because it is very friendly and loves to be around people and loves affection. Not like the usual strays we get around here sometimes. Seems to be seeking people out for food and affection all the time and I'm not sure if it belongs to somebody but it is out an awful lot and hangs around in the parking lot and I worry about it getting run over and not having any real shelter or people that are really caring for it. I have seen it inside both buildings and I have seen multiple people leaving food out for it. But people tend to leave the doors open at our apmts so I'm not sure if it just came in because the doors were open. I have posted in multiple places to see if I can find out if it has an owner or not. Seems a little thin but not so thin you can feel its ribs. Other than that looks healthy and has clear eyes and nose so no respiratory infections and does not seem sick in any way. Seems like a healthy friendly cat that either is an indoor outdoor cat that spends most of its time outdoors or it could be a stray. It does seem like it is spending the majority of its time near our apmts though. If it doesn't have a home I think it should have one because it is definitely a cat that loves to be around people and wants to be. So just wondering if anyone knows who this cat May belong to or if it belongs to anyone who is reading this page. I would hate to just rehome somebody's cat because I thought it was a stray so I want to make sure I cover my bases before I try to find it home before colder weather comes around. I can't keep it myself because I have two very high prey dogs and there are other people at my apmt that would like to take it in but they can't because of the pets they already have also. Everybody here seems to really love this cat and frankly it has grown on me as well which is why I am reaching out. If I am outside it will sit by my feet as long as I am out there, and it will jump in my van if the window is open and wants to take a nap on my chest or on the floorboards between my feet. This cat definitely deserves a home if it doesn't already have one.
