He is at the shelter my neighbor called them because we were scared he would get killed on 52 or E Innes...Ive been worried about him,please let us know if you get him back?

Martha Yakaira Wilkey you did not talk this talk at my house so I am confused? Your man said we can keep the dog so I am extra confused. See below: Hey Ma'am. I already love that big boy. But I also see he's very fond of you. I only want what's best for him. I really need and want a service dog but it breaks my heart to not know where he is and I lost my voice last night, calling him all night. But now that I shut up and cleared my head, I'm thinking clearly and with all the kids in the neighborhood that come over because we have the fun house in the neighborhood, they like to come play in the game room, they love to come feed the chickens and ride our dirt bikes, I'm that Dad in the neighborhood who keeps the good snacks, and drinks in stock for the less fortunate kids in the government apartments down the road because I grew up poor so I know how that is and I would be alot more better off financially if I didnt have such a big heart but I look out for those kids who's parents can't afford those extra expenses at the moment. But to get straight to the point if he's happier and more comfortable with you. I'd rather you just have him hun. It kills me because he has come and sat beside me here lately on nights where I have the time to sit on the back porch, and he doesn't see the kids for a few hours, he will warm up to me. But the next day when im working and as soon as kids come play hes right back skittish. He will come and sit beside me, but he is just overwhelmed with all the children in the area. An I can't tell them not to come have fun at the house. Some kids count on us for a good time and my 2 sons love helping him them too. I don't know if I can break him of that fear of kids and the yelling. So I'll do what's best for him. I was just happy to finally have a dog that's worth training for my epilepsy. They are expensive. The guy I sold my backhoe to gave him to me just to help me out. But I want what's best for him. An clearly he loves you too and you spent 1 day with him. It took me a week to get him comfortable enough to approach me. I slept on the back the other night to show him, I'm his new Daddy and I will love him, but I can't even get the new collar on him so I just can't think about myself in this situation I need to do what's best for him. So I'll let you make that call

He told us we could keep the dog. I have the dog at Faith Hope & Love Animal Rescue NC. They drove off while I was sitting with him in the middle of the road. This is the dog. We’ve been trying to catch all day today, you’ve got to go quick. He’s up at the Fairview Road and Street area behind Lillenberg Advanced Dentistry. He would not come to us. We tried all day.
