Kelley Denese Cunningham oh thank goodness. The temperature tomorrow is not as warm as today and overnight it’s going down to around 13 c 😳 for the next couple of days that I seen. I just hope this little guy can hold on. I’m not sure what temperature is to cold or not for a budgie. He certainly is a beautiful one. Can you please keep me updated , and this group here as well , when the owner brings the cage and fingers crossed they go into their cage 🤞🙏. Thank you.

Appreciate you posting, that was my intention when I came across your notification. The owner messaged me saying they were coming on Tuesday with a cage to set up in my yard 🤞such a beautiful bird.

Kelley Denese Cunningham Hi everyone! I’m the original poster through PawBoost - I simply spotted the bird while walking my dog around the neighbourhood, and have been keeping my eye out ever since (I’ve seen it a few times in the same tree). I have been in talks with the Oakville Humane Society and they have a net and small bird cage that they would lend out for the attempted rescue! However I agree that it would be best if it was the owners cage / set up, since the bird would hopefully recognize it. Nice to know others in the neighbourhood are feeding and keeping an eye out for this little guy! Hopefully he is safely reunited with his owner soon 🩵

Kelley Denese Cunningham yes hopefully he does 🙏. He mentioned almost a week ago that he reached out to the OP and was waiting for a response not sure if he has heard back from them but they only saw the bird in a tree. I hope he reaches out to you since the bird has been coming to your feeder. The weather is getting cooler at night now 😢.

Kelley Denese Cunningham is there anyway Kelley that you can possibly catch him ?? If you have excess to a bird cage you can put it outside with some bird food in it and leave the cage door open. He should fly right into it. 🙏
