Bentley is Missing in Millersville, MD

Description

A beagle with a white front neck and front legs, half Hazel and white tail and his coat is overall a sort of Hazel ish orangey. He looks like your typical beagle, may or may not be wearing a chunky black shock collar and he does have a chip. May have black gunk around the eyes.

My name is Lucy Rose. I'm 14 years old and I'm on the search for my baby. I got Bentley when I was four years old and he was just a couple of months, and when I tell you we were like soulmates I really mean it. In the cliche movie way yeah, but I promise you with all my heart that's how we really were. I had a hard time making friends as a neurodivergent little girl, and I made friends by talking to other children about my dog. Bentley was the absolute best, he was like sugar wrapped up in a little package. He would let me take naps while using him as a pillow, let me sit on his back like he was a little horse. He really was the absolute best, he did have a big habit of running away though, at the end of the day beagles love the hunt. I was the only person who could ever find him, but in October of either 2022 or 2023 I was down in South Carolina with my father moving into our new hse, my mom and my little brother who was around 2 at the time were back in Maryland. And he got out, likely he shed his shock collar and got under the fence and he was gone. My mother didn't go to look for him because she was occupied with a very active toddler. I regret moving everyday because of this. When he left, it feels like a part of me went with him. I was already in a fragile mental state when he left, but when my dad told me he ran away? I was in denial for at least a week. And then I was just crying. I went tricker treating that year without my best friend. Since 2023 so much has changed in my life, but me missing him? Oh that hasn't moved a bit. I will keep looking for my soul mate until the day I die. So please. Please please, if you even have the slightest suspicion you've heard of him or seen him contact me through my Instagram peekaboolulu. I need my dog back. I don't think I can leave this earth with at least knowing what happened to my best friend. I'd do absolutely anything to get him home with me. So please. Help me bring Bentley Home.
