Message from Owner

My cat, Louie, escaped his carrier while walking into Westerville Vet Clinic. He ran across Huber Village Boulevard and went behind the homes on the north side of the street. He was last seen Friday morning by the fence line between the homes and the office complex behind them. If seen, please contact me. He’s skiddish so it will be hard to get him to come to you. Popping open a can of cat food may work if you see him

Marlene Bardon Nice that's a great idea! Put his favorite food in the humane trap. I had to do this with a friend's cat several years ago, and we were able to trap her kitty!

missinganimalresponse.com has very good info on behavior of lost indoor cats. You probably have already done this, but do a very extensive physical search in the area where your cat was lost. Also, if you can find a spot around where he ran, sit down in a chair and just talk in your normal voice or read a book out loud. If your cat is still in that area And hears your voice, it may come up to you. But do this at dusk and beyond when it’s very dark and very quiet.

Will the vet clinic allow you to set a trap and keep an eye on it?
