No they didn't deserve such a devoted pet as this one. I thought it was a girl too until I took him to the vet. This poor babe would not leave the area in front of the house except an occasional walk into the backyard or the front yard grass. Never for long and never far. Bare/brown round spot in the grass where he had laid curled by the driveway and front door, probably for weeks. I imagine just waiting for his people to come back for him. He finally has some weight back on him after 9 days of nurturing him. Yesterday I took him to a cat/dog person who wanted to adopt him. He wanted another outside cat and has heated houses etc for them. His cat and dog were so friendly to this sweet, scared little guy at their meeting each other. I pray he likes it there and forgets those that abandoned him. I'm glad that for every cruel person there is to animals, that there are others that are loving and caring to them.

That is awful. I hope this beauty finds a better home to be honest. The last owners don’t deserve her
