1. Borrow a cat trap from a cat rescue like Alley Cats and Angels or Safe Haven For Cats. Put a tarp over the top part only. Bait with canned mackerel or sardines . 2. Join Next Door but still check with neighbors . May not be in FB 3. If microchipped alert the company 4. Post flyers on neon poster paper and put in plastic zip lock bags 5. Look under houses, porches, decks and bushes 6. Look in trees. Look in garages, sheds, drain pipes and sewers 7. Go out late at night like midnight - 2 am when quiet and call calmly . Take a strong flash light to reflect on their eyes. Take treats 8. Set up outdoor camera to see if coming up. About $35 Walmart 9. Notify both shelters in Raleigh . Go to both in person every day or two. 10. Indoor cats are usually hiding or stuck within 7 houses or 50 yards unless they hitched a ride; indoor- outdoor cats within 17 houses or 345 yards 11. Set up feeding stations outside with canned mackerel or sardines and put out water 12. If an indoor cat call a pet tracker. They also give tips . Great local tracker Baylanda Brown and Bravo www.
