Message from Owner

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE HELP ME FIND MY LOST FRIEND - IM LOST WITHOUT MY BIRD!!! IF YOU SEE A BLACK/WHITE PARROT, PLEASE CALL THE HUMAINE SOCIETY OR ASHWAUBENON PUBLIC SAFTEY. OR BETTER YET, CALL MY CELL PHONE: NINE TWO ZERO - FOUR FOUR FIVE - NINE FIVE FOUR THREE. SHE WILL COME TO ME IF I CAN FIND WHERE SHE IS. ALL I AHVE TO DO IS CALL TO HER WITH OUR SPECIAL WHISTLE CALL. BUT I NEED TO FIND HERE FIRST. SHE WAS LAST SEEN AT THE ADDRESS BELOW, JUST NORTH OF THE AIRPORT, SHE WAS FLYING NORTH: Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church 2160 Packerland Green Bay, WI 54304 My parrot flew out of the garage yesterday after being accosted by a roommate, not sure exactly what happened but my stupid roommate abused my bird and she flew away. I walked around the neighborhood for a day and a half, whistling to her but she never replied. She always replied. She has gotten out before and always returned when I called her. For some reason, this time, she is not replying to my call, i think she is still under distress from what my roommate did to her. If I can find out where she is, i can get her out of whatever three she is in, i just need to find her, please help.

I heard a cockatiel call in Allouez today near a flock of sand cranes in a field. When they flew, it sounded like it flew with them.

Maybe you could put out a recording of your whistle call outside. If it gets to be too long maybe you could share your whistle call for others to try around their home

Immediate ActionsSet out the cage: Place your bird's familiar cage outside near where it escaped. Leave the door open with fresh water and favorite treats inside.Do not chase: Avoid running after your bird, which can panic it and cause it to fly higher or further away.Search nearby trees: Most indoor birds cannot fly far and land in nearby trees, bushes, or roofs within a short radius of your home.Listen and call: Walk slowly around your neighborhood, calling your bird's name, whistling a familiar tune, or playing recordings of its flock or species.

Owner should put out the cage with feed near last sighted. Poor thing. I’d be kicking out the roommate.
