Message from Owner

We are really missing Kiwi. She never leaves the deck of our hse, so for her to be gone for this long is worrisome. She’s a year old and on the smaller side. She does know her name so if you think you see her just give her a call

April Sandvl-Alfaro we have been leaving the porch light on, she knows how to use the dog door, which is how she got out. We live on 10 acres so if she went on someone else’s property she may not hear us shake her food bowl. I’ve gone to the back of our property and called her name plenty of times.

Kevin Maclary thank you! We have been doing everything. We live on 10 acres so I don’t think leaving clothes out will help get her home. If she’s traveled to someone else’s property she won’t smell it.

Ruthmaria Cummings we live on 10 acres and all of our neighbors also have acreage. We’ve talked to everyone whose properties back up to ours and no one has seen her. They are all keeping their eyes out for her. I just don’t want her to get mistaken for a neighborhood cat or a stray cat since her ear isn’t tipped.

Go around late at night calling them with food and flashlight to catch their eyes. Check around your neighborhood under houses and in small places where they may hide. Put stuff out that has yours and their scent on it. Hang flyers around for people to see. Check shelters and vets daily. Update chip info if they have a chip and its has not been update since a move. Ask neighbors to check in their garages incase they ended up trapped in one. I pray you get your baby back safe and soon.

If you can put out something heavy with your scent he will smell it your scent travels further will be more familiar and is a comforting scent which should draw him back home. Put it in a safe but accessible place near the area he disappeared from or usually hangs out in. He will probably be near it hiding in not to long a time. I've read recently in several rescues that this technique works. And the scent will last even if it rains and you can change the item every couple days. Putting Flyers in mail boxes and local vets and businesses doesn't hurt. Ask delivery people and mail personnel if they would take a flyer and keep an eye out they are in neighborhood and might see him. Check shelters and vets let them know your looking and that way if he's brought in they are aware he's lost . Good luck don't be afraid to call every couple of days. If you see him do not run after him he might be scared call to him let him know it's you carry his favorite toy treat or blanket to help reassure him.

I know its been a while dont losr hope print new filets actively restart the search send flyers ask neighbors refresh thier memories perhaps someone saw something or knows something they forgot I know its hard bit also could someone have really liked your cat paid to much attention to it or hold a grudge against you that they would take your baby? I know it sounds horrible to think someone you know could do that but I speak from experience. Don't be afraid to start the search repost on paw boost good luck
