Found/Stray Dog in Wake Forest, NC 27587

Description

White & brown dog (female) & brown (female) German shepherd ish dog. We call the white dog Rosa- she's not chipped but is up to date on shots & spayed and about 62 pounds. Cora (brown dog) isn't chipped but is spayed and up to date on shots and about 40 pounds.

These cute girls were found on the side of the road by my 18 year old. They have colars with a number on them and she called the owner. The owner stated that she had 8 dogs in her home and had been feeding these two dogs since they had been abandoned on her property. She got them both spayed and had a neighbor agree to let them stay in her barn. The previous owner allowed my daughter to take them in hopes that she'd be able to find good homes. They have been with our family for 2 weeks and we've gotten them up to date on shots and I will give a quick overview of each: Rosa Barks- white & brown dog- 62 pounds. Quiet & sweet, but will not be moved if she doesn't want to go into a kennel, get in a car, go outside, etc. She is very loving, is crate trained, is not food aggressive and is a complete sweetheart. Loves being outside. Coretta (Cora)- German shepherd looking, about 43 pounds, super excited (likes to jump & give kisses), eager to get pets, kennel trained, likes to lounge, not food aggressive but likely needs toys to stay out of trouble (she's chewed up the birdseed bin on my back porch and the dog bed she was given). The pair is used to being together but I don't know that they're bonded per se. They're good with our dogs (but our grumpy old lady dog isn't willing to share her people or her hse, thank you very much), sweet, loving & have been surrendered to my daughter by the previous owner. Unfortunately because our 13 year old grumpy old lady dogs is easily irritated by 1.5-2 year old dogs, and gets growly/snappy they can't stay with us.
