Message from Finder

I found this poor sweet boy tied to my tree, no food no water, used one of my dog leashes that was already there, no sign of owner or message with the dog, I just want this poor dog safe and with a gentle family if owners don’t want him.

✅ report finding the dog with the shelter ✅ if you can't keep while searching for the owner, please take to the shelter where family is checking every day for their missing pet

please make sure they scan the whole body, legs, paws and tail. microchips migrate over time and can be missed. scanning a second time is always recommended just to be sure. even shelters miss chips • not all pet stores have scanners. recommend taking the dog to any vet, animal hospital or shelter. it's free

Good Samaritans - who can do nothing more at the time - have secured an animal to a tree, gate, fence, lamp post, bench, taken to the park, left in front of a convenience store to prevent from being hit by a car. this has happened on a number of occasions and owners have been grateful they were able to pick up their missing pet. please don't automatically assume this dog was abandoned/dumped
