Indoor cats usually do not go far when they get out, but are too scared to come to you no matter what you think. Even an outdoor/indoor kitty’s do not wonder all that far, they know where their food lives. Put anything with the cat’s scent on it, cat blanket, toys, or clothing with your scent, out on the porch. Post flyers in your area, not everyone is on social networks. Look at night with flash light for the cats eyes shining back. Look under everything and up in trees. Sit on the porch at night with a bowl of food softy calling. Go door to door and ask neighbors to look in any outdoor structure, garages, etc.. kitty may be trapped inside when the door was open then closed, especially with so much yard work going on. Hope your kitty comes home soon.
