Lost Dog Here is some info you might find helpful. Put a blanket or something with your scent on your porch. Hopefully, he/she can smell the scent and find their way home. If you have another dog, they can smell each other if you can securely have them out side. This link has great tips.. www.wikihow.com/Find-a-Lost-Dog. Smaller dogs/cats tend to be rescued within a mile from their home. Post on www.pawboost.com and nextdoor.com and www.HelpingLostPets.com, which has fliers to download to hand out to your neighbors and local businesses. Give one to your mailman, landscape workers, pizza delivery etc. Google the addresses of all local vet clinics and give them a flier. Keep checking the local shelter for stray intake. Don't call but go in person. Find out if the shelter uses either Petfinder or Pet Harbor to display the animals they have there. Also post a neon poster near where the dog went missing or last sighted.
