Message from Owner

My sweet Stevie stays at my mom’s hse due to not being able to have her at my current residence. I was informed last night for the first time that she has been missing for a week and a half. I am completely heart broken and won’t stop looking for her. I wish I was informed that night or following morning so I could’ve started my search and posting right away instead of so long after, but please let me know if you have any information at all.

Print up color posts in your neighborhood right away, post on Nextdoor, pawboost, and file a lost cat report on idaho humane society. Hope you guys are reunited soon 💓 We're missing our kitty, I know its hard. P.s. love the name Stevie

If possible leave your garage door cracked and put his/her bed or blanket and some of your unwashed clothes for scent by garage opening or on your porch. Cats have a great sense of smell. Put up flyers ASAP. No food or litter box for it will attract others or predators . Go out late when it quiets down with a flashlight looking in bushes and under vehicles anywhere he/she may be hiding. Look for reflection of his/ her eyes. Some have luck with shaking a bag of treats or an open can of tuna or sardines. Softly call his/ her name and listen for a faint meow. He's/she's scared so won't be loud. Definitely have neighbors check their garages and sheds. Most cats stay close for several days and usually come back around between 12 and 4 am. Check outside often. I hope you find him/her soon 💕.

Put his litter box at the front door, that usually works.👍

Is she microchipped so that you can be contacted if she ends up at the shelter? Your mom needs to post on the Nextdoor app for her neighborhood since hopefully Stevie is still in her neighborhood.
