Tammy Lee Arner Null trapping is tricky. I'd set it close to your house (on your property). Don't leave it unattended. Put is somewhere you can see it from a window and check it repeatedly. Cover it with something that smells like her or you (a blanket she's slept on our you've used, etc.). Make sure you have newspaper or cardboard on the bottom and try something that she can't resist (ex: KFC chicken, canned mackerel, cat nip, etc.). I'm so sorry for you.

Kelly Crown thank you.... I am willing to try anything I can...I appreciate all of your suggestions... I am praying if I put a trap out I can catch her .. there are so many tnr kitty's here .. just can't find her anywhere.. every day my heart breaks more but I'm not giving up... I'm so tired of crying.. my face burns from tears.. no poor me this is just a very very frustrating kinda pain... It's all the what ifs... And calls I still need to make.. vets offices etc... and trying to stay focused to be out there looking.. never thought loving an animal could hurt like this . I pray someone might know who if anyone might have her.... I will def try the 5 am thing also... How far from my house do I set a trap with all the others out here.. and I am asking neighbors and they r helping.. I'm grateful... I've been driving to all the cat hang outs I can find... And talking to others who feed the strays .. nothing at all so far.. I'm even looking in the sewer drains and in the woods nearby.. looking for any signs of an animal attack... Anything... I wish this on nobody ever.. I so love this cat I can't even put into words .. she has been by my side through so much.. and... She never ever left ..ever... Do I try n print flyers also... Or are these sites all good... I feel lost and empty and keep trying ... Walking driving calling posting. Not one single person has seen anything except the night we all saw her last ... This is what a bit of my own death feels like... Thank u again for your kind words and ideas I will do whatever it takes to bring her back... Or ... To know...what I don't know ... But I need to desperately know just ugh more tears. I feel like I'm gonna break over this ..

Put out something that she's familiar with that carries her scent (a bed, a blanket but NOT a litterbox). CALL FOR HER IN THE QUIET, STILL HOURS (11pm-7am). THIS IS SO IMPORTANT (5am seems to be the luckiest hour)!!!!!!! Scared cats move around while the rest of the world is still. Put out food in intervals (not at night) when you can keep an eye out. Talk to your neighbors, generally, they don't go far and find an open garage or shed to huddle down. If these suggestions don’t work: lost pet cats may not respond the way you’d expect your beloved kitty to and they may not just come to your calling so be prepared to have to use a humane trap (she will return to herself once she’s back inside) and put signs in your local pet store (if someone takes her in they will need litter and food). I hope you find her 🍀
