This morning on San Diego Channel 7 NBC News they showed a photo on "clear the shelter" segment about the Humane Society over-crowding problem of a cat that looks very much like your photo. I think it was the Rancho Humane Society which I think is in Carlsbad area. Ck their website. Hope you find your dear pet!

Nelly Belle Vi Cencio Hello, Nelly. Thank you very, very much for your sweet sentiment. It has been 2 weeks now, and I have not seen any indication that he is in the area, is injured, and I have not received any input from any of my neighbors who are all fully aware of me desperately looking for him every evening, and then going back out at midnight and just before dawn every night for the last two weeks. I refuse to give up on him, because I have had him since he was 4 weeks old. I'm the only mom he knows. It is only with God's grace that he is hunkered down somewhere and when he is ready, he will come home. I have gone to all levels to find him, to include high-powered binoculars to look in the tops of trees, across fields, up into the heights of trees in my area. I also have a thermal camera that I have been utilizing to look for any indication or any sign of him. And unfortunately, there are no subtle or overt signs or indications that he is anywhere in the immediate or outside area. I truly believe that something occurred in the vicinity of my home and he was subsequently removed off-site. I have encircled the coyote dens, orange groves, and multiple open fields, as well as people's front yards, side yards, (they take care of their backyards, looking for any indication of Oliver, and worst case scenario, any indications of his remains). There has been nothing seen or heard or observed by anyone who has been kind, benevolent, and understanding, yet unfortunately there have been multiple inappropriate references and comments directed toward me during my search. It is because of that activity, that there is a high index of suspicion that Oliver was removed from my neighborhood, and not by a coyote, owl, an innocent neighbor's dog, or carried into a nest to feed young owls. So, I will continue to hope and pray that Oliver will come home to me, because I'm the one that can help him and get him to the vet, if he needs it. Without absolute evidence, we can only conclude what all the evidence has pointed to.

Irene Taylor , sure do appreciate your hopes and prayers. Every time I read comments sent in by folks, I try to get a little bit more hopeful. He has endured so much over the last 12 days: unbearable heat, unknown shelter, unknown food and water, unknown extent of injury, possible inability to get back to me. Every night, midnight, and daybreak, walk through the neighborhood with flashlights, food, water, keep calling its name, carry his tractive GPS and his tile tracker both with me and activate them both with their tunes, in the hopes that he will hear them come running up to me as he always has in the past, looking for food inside the house. I am really digging deep to stay focused and my goal is to keep looking for him, so that I can bring him home.
