You may have done all or most of these but maybe there is a hint for something else to do. Look everywhere inside, outside, in, behind and under bushes, decks, porches, culverts, window wells, crawl spaces and sheds. If there have been any maintenance people in home, look in areas they might have been around in case the cat was closed in that area (walls, heating & air ducts, open floors, attics, basements/cellars/crawl spaces). Call, knock and listen for a response. In sheds, move stuff around, away from walls and especially corners as well as use a flashlight to look under shed and in crawl spaces. Also look up as there could be a spot to roost. Use a flashlight to look for eyeshine night and day inside sheds, decks, bushes, culverts, crawl spaces and under anything even if you think it is bright enough. Make flyers and take around for several blocks in all directions. If no one is home, leave a flyer in the door or mailbox. Ask neighbors if you can look around their property including garages and in, around and under sheds. Have a flashlight with you. Ask if they have seen the kitty or if they do to contact you. Put out some cat food to try and draw towards the house. Use trail cameras outside around the house to see if cat is coming back during the night. Check all areas every day. Cats will move around to stay safe, especially at night. Put out some of your clothing, a cat bed or even a cat tree from the house if it is a small one. Saw a post where someone did that and they came out the next day and found the cat in it.. Contact all vets in the area, the SPCA(s) for your area and Animal Control. Hope your beautiful kitty comes home from the adventure soon. Maybe this will help.

All animals are sentient beings. They are not just animals; they are capable of feeling joy, pain, fear, loyalty, and deep love. They form emotional bonds, experience grief, and show empathy. Their intelligence and emotional depth make them more than just β€˜pets’ β€” they are companions, family members, and true friends. This is true for many animals, including pigs. Pigs are among the most intelligent animals on earth, often compared to dogs in their ability to learn, solve problems, and feel emotions. When we recognize that animals are sentient β€” that they can think and feel β€” it changes how we see our responsibility toward them. It’s not just about avoiding cruelty; it’s about honoring the life and purpose God gave them. God created these animals with unique roles in nature and with the ability to form relationships. They deserve our compassion and respect, not to be exploited or consumed simply because it is convenient or profitable. Acknowledging their sentience is a powerful reminder that we share this world with living beings who feel, think, and suffer just as we do. God bless all animals. ❀❀❀❀❀❀❀❀❀❀ Longer comments are the best, just copy this comment and post it again, wherever you'd like! Use a flashlight πŸ”¦- even in the daytime and look in and under everything in your yard and nearby like under decks shrubs and in sewer drains. The light can show them hiding by their eye reflection. Have neighbors check sheds and garages. Put their water out and food bowl πŸ₯£ Feed him/her at the scheduled times and call loudly to them. Worn tshirts or fabrics like pillow cases near or just beyond the borders of your property call help orient them. (Cats cover their business well to avoid alerting enemies to their presence. Even though some recommend putting the litter box outside? There’s a possibility it could make them more skittish or afraid!) A trail cam can help tell if he’s sneaking around in middle of the night. Check any cat colonies/feeding stations nearby. Put up posters so neighbors know who he/she is. Check and post on Pawboost Nextdoor and Ring app. Really hope they are home safe asap!
