Milo is Missing in Sacramento, CA

Milo is an indoor 4 year old male Snowshoe.

Saturday 8/22 (around 11pm),I took Milo to use the restroom prior to checking into the Residence Inn, Natomas (we are in the middle of moving) and I took my eyes off him for less than a minute to look down and answer an incoming call, in that time he managed to slip out of his harness & run away to a dense bushes that are outlying the property. This area is next door the freeway and on the opposite side, 3 large fields with tall grass, with many trees and bushes. I frantically searched for him for over an hour with no luck. Sunday morning, I searched the area for close to two hours, and another hour searching last night from 8-9pm. The area is busy with several restaurants and a gas station next door so I will be attempting another search after midnight tonight when the area quiets down. I’m devastated. I cannot stop crying or thinking of how terrified he must be. I’m currently going through a divorce and Milo has been everything to me. I’ve raised him since he was 5 weeks old & we’ve never been apart longer than two days. He is not just a pet to me, he’s always been my baby. And I won’t rest until I can find him and bring him home.
