It’s very obvious that this baby had a home at some point! They haven’t left my porch for almost two weeks, and want to come inside. I always leave food and water out for cats that roam, and have had one other cat trapped and rehomed in a similar situation. There’s an insulated hut on my covered porch. They are well taken care of, and I have a vet appointment set up, out of pocket by me, this coming week to check for a chip, get a puss filled wound on their back checked out, update on vaccinations, and to see if the vet can tell if they’re spayed/neutered, which I am also willing to pay for out of pocket. Unfortunately, I have a free range rabbit and cats with existing medical issues, and a husband who is allergic to cats (with three already in the home), so I cannot take this precious sweetie inside. Regardless, they will be taken care of, as they do not seem to wandered off my property since showing up. I’ve contacted local rescues and TNR groups, but they are all beyond capacity. A few have said if I pay for vetting, then they can hopefully contact me when one of their fosters are available. Let’s get this baby home! Or placed somewhere they are able to find a new place to land!
