Mikey looks exactly like his photo. He is neutered, chipped and MUTE! He is NOT deaf, he is MUTE. He got lost a year and a half ago and was gone for 31 days! Ever since then, we put trackers on all our cats. Because of the heavy rain last week, I brought all my animals and took the trackers off all the cats to dry overnight. My husband woke up in the morning, fed everyone before work, then opened the doggie door, and ! GONE! Mikey is mute not DEAF! His sense of hearing and smell are UNCANNY! Especially when he smells BACON! He knows and responds to his name. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE keep your eyes out for him. I need help from the animal community! I am terrified he may be trapped somewhere, and with this heat, he doesn't have a chance! Thank you all, and PLEASE, PLEASE help me find my boy.

If you're area is Harris County go follow the group called Save Dog Souls They post daily intakes for BARC shelter which includes cats. If you find yours there be sure to write down the Intake ID number and call them ASAP based on what I have read it doesn't matter if the pet is chipped they are not going to make contact with owners.

flyers on porches a block around. talk to neighbors. wont go far. be patient. inside cats get scared outside and may not answer when called. A neighbor five doors down kept the flyer and after 6 weeks when I had given up she called and had spotted my cat hiding in the front bushes exactly where I'd called for him dozens of times.. best to call when it's quiet like at night
