Message from Owner

Niko is an inside cat but likes to sneak out and embrace his wild side. He’s done this before and always comes . This time, however he did not come back and I am very concerned because of the rainy cold weather. He is very friendly and talkative but doesn’t like to be held or carried. Please notify me if he’s seen. 🥺🙏

Please keep small dogs & cats inside always. Have collars & a microchip. No bells on collars, it alerts prey. I see many posts w/ lost animals not having these or a bell b/c the owner thinks they'll never get out & they do. Post on Petfinder.com and Facebook too. Pawboost has fliers you can print up. Visit local shelters in person. Sometimes they don't post found animals or give wrong info. Never give up! Come home Niko! 🙏

Time is of the essence. Cats don’t go far from home. Keep the door or window the kitty left from open 24/7 so they can return, usually very late at night. If unable to do that then crack your garage door open enough for her to get in, 24/7. Knock on neighbors doors with a picture letting them know she got out and ask them to keep an eye out, check Ring cameras for any sighting, post as many flyers as possible with kitty’s picture in your and surrounding neighborhoods. Walk late at night when it’s quiet with a flashlight, looking under every shrub for their shining eyes, softly call the kitty’s name and shake their food. Post on Ring, Nextdoor and check with shelters. Don’t give up. 💕

You're afraid of the cold weather, you should be afraid of the coyotes.
