I am so sorry to hear that. You never know, he may be in a house that someone believed he was a stary. Hemay get out and show back up. I have a friend that happened with, and it was well over a year. 🙏💞 He is sooooo darling. I know if I saw him, and thought he didn't have a home, I would have picked him up right away. 🙁

Brandy McCoskey thank you! Unfortunately no, we never heard anything. He just completely disappeared. I still look for him though.

Put his litter box on the back porch so he can smell his own scent home. Don't put food out it'll only attract strays. If you try calling him do it late at njght after the fade. Not too loud and dont walk around or it can confuse him where the sound of your vioce is coming from. Also don't sound worried and call too loud or frantic because it may make him hide more thinking there's a threat nearby. Call happily like you have a treat. Also if he has a jingly toy sit around somewhere and jingle it when its quiet maybe he'll come outta the woodwork to play .

Tips To Find A Lost Kitty Spayed and Neutered cats don't usually travel far. Go out at dark with a flashlight and look in bushes, under cars and sewer openings. Make up flyers and go door to door up and down the block alerting your neighbors to check their garages or sheds where the cat might be trapped. Shake some treats. Put something out that smells like you or them, if he/she is close, he/she may be able to pick up his/her scent. Crack garage door so they can get back in. Leave out water too. Make bright waterproof plastic signs to put in front of your house, that people will see as they drive by. Use those neon markers. Use plastic zip ties to attach the signs to utility poles And at nearby street corners. If cat is chipped, check with animal control and nearby shelters. Post on nextdoor.com and pawboost.com. Post on Ring. Also post on https://petfbi.org/
