And give cross streets nearest your home. File lost report with Nebraska Humane Society. Post on Lost Pets of Omaha Area for more readers and services. Hopefully, cat is microchipped. Put owner’s dirty clothes in yard and in garage with water and bed. Leave door open enough cat can get in. Search in, under, behind every possible place cat could be hiding, stuck or hurt. Ask neighbors if you can search their yards…window wells, trees, bushes,sheds, garages, decks, vehicles, empty containers, boxes, etc. After dark search with flashlights so you can see eyes shine. Walk area lost with water and favorite food/treats or try tuna or sardines. Call cat’s name in calm, friendly voice as you search.
